Neon saves short notes about patterns, wins and blockers (up to 25 per person) so it can remember you between sessions. They are private to your account and are deleted when you delete it.
When you use voice coaching, your microphone audio is streamed in real time to Google's Gemini API, which generates Neon's replies. Voice Activity Detection reduces how much audio is sent, and you can mute your microphone at any time. We do not store your audio. Live captions and the conversation are kept in your browser for the session only and are not saved to your account.
We use Google's paid Gemini API tier. Under Google's Gemini API terms, Google does not use content sent through paid services to improve its products or train its models.
If you allow camera access, video frames are analysed inside your browser by models running on your device to tell whether you are at your desk or on your phone. Images and video are not uploaded or saved. The only output sent onward is a short text message, for example "the user left the camera view", so Neon can check in on you.
If you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes payment. We store your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID and subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
If you accept analytics cookies, we use PostHog and Google Analytics to understand how the product is used. PostHog links events to your account and receives your user ID, email address and plan, and it records your IP address to estimate your location. If you reject analytics cookies, neither runs.
We send a welcome email through Resend, using your email address and name.
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep the service secure, and cannot be turned off. Analytics cookies are optional and only used if you accept them in the cookie banner. Rejecting them does not affect the service. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK you also have rights under data protection law, including the right to complain to your local regulator. To exercise any right, email support@neoncontext.com.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, sessions, tasks and coaching notes are removed immediately, your subscription is cancelled and your Stripe customer record is deleted. Our database provider may keep backup copies for a short period before they expire.
NeonContext is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our providers process data in the United States and other countries. By using NeonContext you understand your data may be transferred to and processed in those countries.
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last Updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app.
